Welcome to CREW!
Do you like to build and craft things with your hands? Would you like to learn how to use a light or sound board? Then CAST wants you!
Each year the CAST program produces a range of dramas, comedies, and musicals especially designed for and performed by middle school students. Our student crew works under the guidance of theatre professionals to create and build the set and all the clever gadgets that make our productions magical. We’ve produced shows where performers fly, dance in the rain, or get eaten by gigantic plants!

Build CREW
Run CREW
Build crew is open to all Julian students on select Saturdays throughout the school year. During Saturday build crew, students are given the opportunity to use their hands to build sets, pick out the perfect furniture piece for the show, or begin learning some of the sound and lighting basics.
Run crew is students who have shown dedication and commitment during build crew. These students ‘run’ with the show. This means that they will be in attendance for all tech rehearsals and performances. These students move the set, operate lighting/sound, and help with costumes during the show.
For students who would like to perform on stage, go to Performance.
