MOUSETRAP
Mousetrap is the classic murder mystery play by Agatha Christie about a group of strangers trapped in a guesthouse during a snowstorm who realize a murderer is among them. Beloved by audiences, it is the longest-running show anywhere. Having opened in London on November 25, 1952 it has been running to this day. CAST performed it in the 2007-08 Lost and Found Season, and it is now part of the Speech Drama Debate Curriculum here at Julian.

FALL MUSICAL (auditions 9.16.2026)
ONCE ON THIS ISLAND
Once on This Island is a one-act musical about an orphaned peasant girl named Ti Moune who falls in love with a wealthy boy from the other side of her divided Caribbean island and makes a fatal bargain with the Gods. From the same people who wrote Ragtime and Seussical, this is the best of the many great Ahrens and Flaherty Musicals. You have not lived if you haven’t heard CAST kids sing the rousing finale, “Why We Tell the Story.” Write the show dates in your calendar now.

CHARLOTTE’S WEB
The Children's Literature Association named this "the best American children's book of the past two hundred years.” Joseph Robinette, working with the advice of E.B. White, has created a play that captures this work in a thrilling and utterly practical theatrical presentation. It is a story about relationships and all the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.”
